Project Description
Residential Services
Our residential services are young person focused to deliver highly individualised support in an environment that is safe, homely, stimulating and nurturing.
Solis MMC residential centres are all designed around the needs of the young people we support.
We currently operate residential care in centres in Louth, Donegal, Westmeath, Cork and Limerick.
The residential centres are primarily located in rural areas but are always within a short distance to local amenities.
Across the Solis MMC residential centres we provide
Emergency Respite
Short-Term Respite
Medium-Long Term Residential Services
Medium-Long Term Residential Services specifically for children with physical disabilities
The young people in our care are active participants in the decision making process.
Their opinions influence the ethos and decor of each centre. Every young person has the opportunity to personalise their own bedroom.
Young people are further involved in developing their Placement Plan.
This plan brings together their own self-assessment of need with the assessment of the professional team, taking account of their likes and interests to determine the best way forward for each individual.
