Solis MMC Children’s Services is creating 12 new jobs with the opening of a new residential care centre for children and young people in Co Limerick.

Solis MMC Children’s Services provides responsive, high-quality care services to children and young people who are assessed as being in need.

More than 175 people are currently employed by Solis MMC nationwide, with care centres located in counties Louth, Westmeath, Cork, Limerick and Donegal. The announcement of a new centre for Limerick follows the opening of the organisation’s new state-of-the-art administrative centre in Co Donegal in December.

Solis MMC is currently recruiting care managers and care workers to staff the new Limerick centre, which is due become operational next month. There are currently vacancies for a centre manager, deputy manager, shift team managers and residential support workers.

Gary McCaul, from Solis MMC, said he was delighted to announce the opening of the organisation’s eleventh residential care centre in Ireland.

He said: “Solis MMC Children’s Services was founded in 2005 to facilitate the development of young persons through solution-focused care. We now employ more than 175 people nationwide and this new development in Limerick will increase that number further while providing a high standard of care for young people.

“We are committed to continuing to set the standard in care provision for young people aged between 13 and 17 years, including persons with mild learning needs and physical disabilities,” he added.
